MEMBERSHIP FEES AND MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

All companies doing business in Slovakia are welcome to join the British Business Community and actively participate in many, if not all, of the Chamber's events, activities and initiatives.  The only condition in becoming a Member is to have a business link with the United Kingdom and pay the appropriate membership fee.

  • Free participation at special Chamber events organized just for Patron Members / selected Members who pay additional fee (limited events, max 12 attendants, Patrons get preference):
    - Lunch meetings with Government representatives
    - Patron’s Luncheon event (meeting various public organizations representatives as per Patrons’ requests) – max. 1 request per Patron per year
  • 2 votes at AGM
  • Preferential treatment over Chamber Member category (support of Lobbying Committee, partnership of Chamber at Patron events / activities if requested, reservations for events, facilitating contact / activities with British Embassy)
  • Free sponsorship visibility at 1 social event per year
  • Listing of logo / corporate profile at web page of British Chamber of Commerce
  • Logo printed in every issue of the Chamber magazine and included in the E-Digest mailing
  • Free publishing of 1 A4 page of text as per Patron request in Chamber magazine per year
  • Three copies of “Bridges” Magazine mailed to Chamber Patron

A Chamber Member receives the following benefits from joining the British Chamber:
  • Discounted fee for participation at Chamber events as opposed to non-member entry fees
  • Possibility to participate at events organized for Chamber Patrons (subject to free seating available, preference is always given to Chamber Patrons)
  • 1 vote at AGM
  • Listing of company name at web page of British Chamber of Commerce (Members List)
    Company name printed in British Chamber of Commerce magazine (Members List)
  • One copy of “Bridges” Magazine mailed to Chamber Member
You may also join the Chamber as an Associate Member. The Associate Member is an individual who would like to participate in the Chamber’s activities, receives the same benefits as a Chamber Member but is not allowed to promote the company or organisation that they work for or candidate for the Board of Directors Election.
